Michael Melfi, Sr.
Michael’s journey began innocently enough. A little cough. Pneumonia 3 times, GI upset. Then came the CT scans and the blood work. And things all changed. Michael was diagnosed with lung cancer. That began a new journey. The fight of his life truly began. And fight he did. Many of you who know him knew him as a fighter. Michael gave countless hours and time. To the detriment of his own business fighting for the “little people”, and championing for what was right. He won a $1.2 million settlement against an insurance carrier that benefits people even today almost 25 years later. He made that victory a reality. With his tenacity. With his grit. With his fight and the belief in doing what is right. He would say, “There is never a right way to do a wrong thing”.
